Advance Nurse Practitioners (ANPs) are very highly trained and skilled members of the community team, who are able to assess, diagnose and manage patients with a wide range of acute and chronic health conditions. ANPs can independently arrange bloods and x-rays, as well as providing prescriptions and arranging same day admission or onward referrals when necessary.
