The Referral Management Service (RMS) is based at University Hospital Crosshouse and is responsible for booking outpatient clinic appointments within hospital services for a range of specialities and locations across NHS Ayrshire and Arran.

Protected Learning Time (PLT)
Our GP Practice takes part in a number of Protected Learning Time (PLT) events throughout the year. This dedicated time allows the practice the opportunity to close for the afternoon to carry out essential staff training and address learning and professional development needs for the whole Practice team. This Protected Learning Time allows us as a Practice to improve on our service delivery and ensure we are providing a high standard of care to our patient population.

Between the hours of 12.30pm to 5.30pm on this day, if you require urgent medical attention which cannot wait until the following day to be seen by your GP, please telephone the Ayrshire Urgent Care Service on 01563 826930 and a member of staff will be able to assist you with your enquiry.
The Ayrshire Urgent Care Service will provide a clinical assessment where required and if you require to be seen by a GP within these hours, your GP Practice will contact you directly.
Non-urgent advice: When to phone 111
For serious or life threatening emergencies call 999.
The 111 service provides urgent care triage if you think you need A&E but its not life-threatening, and advice when your GP, pharmacy or dental practice is closed.
