The medical administrative staff are there to help you and anything you tell them will be treated in absolute confidence. Our medical administrators are members of the practice team and it has been agreed they should ask patients “why they need to be seen”.
Medical Administrators are trained to ask certain questions in order to ensure you receive: the most appropriate care, from the most appropriate health professional at the most appropriate time. It is not a case of them being nosy.

Mental Health Services

Our in house mental health practitioner provides a triage service to those patients suffering with their mental health. They will assess the issues patients are dealing with then allocate them to the most appropriate resource to help. Appointments with them can be arranged by contacting reception on 01655 882708.

Community Links Practitioner

The Practice works with Community Links Practitioners and appointments are available with them in the surgery. They are here to help you improve your health and wellbeing through connecting you with activities and services in your area.  The Community Links Practitioner will work with you to find groups and services covering a range of needs, topics and interests.

Alex Welsh 
Listening Service

Alex provides a confidential listening service. This service can be used to help patients talk through various problems which may be causing them varying degrees of distress. This service promotes wellbeing and helps people to explore their own inner resources and those of the communities around them. Appointments can be arranged with him by contacting Reception.

Practice Pharmacist

We currently have pharmacist working in the surgery. They carry out medication reviews on patients and also undertakes prescribing projects set by our GP’s. They are supported by other members of our pharmacy team.

Adam Stewart
Practice Physiotherapist

Adam Stewart is a member of the MSK team working with the practice. He will assess patient’s muscle or joint problems then provide advice and support to help resolve the issue. Appointments with him can be arranged by contacting reception on 01655 882708.

The team participates in developmental screening and all aspects of health care involving mothers and children.
